Grade 100 master link assemblies with captive shorteners combine the top connection point and integrated shortening devices into a single engineered assembly. This design allows chain leg length to be adjusted directly at the master link without additional components, simplifying sling configuration and reducing assembly complexity. Used where frequent load balancing or adjustment is required, such as structural erection and fabrication lifting.
