| POLYPROPYLENE ROPE | |
![]() |
Polypropylene rope has nearly twice the strength of Manila rope of same size. The rope has positive buoyancy (floats), doesn't absorb water, and doesn't decay. It's resistant to acid, alkali and most chemicals. When not in use, the rope should be stored away from direct sunlight.
Recommended usages are mooring, dock and anchor line, boat life-line, tarpaulin line, tent tiedown, pool barrier line, public utility and general use in home, farm and industry. |

| NYLON ROPE | |

Nylon rope has twice the strength of Manila rope. It has high elongation (under load) when compared to other synthetic ropes. Nylon has high energy absorption under shock and good abrasion resistance. When combined, these characteristics makes nylon rope the best in handling compared to other synthetics. It's utilised extensively in marine use such as mooring lines, towing slings, commercial fishing, utility rope, leisure boat, sailing etc.

| POLYESTER (DACRON) ROPE | |

Polyester rope exceeds twice the strength of Manila rope, has a lower elongation, high strength, with excellent resistance to outer and internal wearing compared to all synthetic and natural fibre ropes. Recommended for use in rigging, tree rope, truck rope, antenna guys and sail boats.

| SUPERFLEX ROPE | |
|
Due to a technically reinforced composition of high tenacity Superdan and polyester yarns, Superflex has retained its superior strength. When combined with DSR's unique double construction cover yarns, this composition provides superior abrasion resistance comparing to conventional constructed ropes. This has been verified through frequent and repeated uses in mooring applications.

| This unique composition and construction produces a rope with extremely low elongation whilst maintaining stability and safety when the rope is overloaded. In addition, Superflex retains its properties even after long periods below sea level.Excellent ultra-violet stabilisation.Popular applications are mooring, towing and anchor lines. | Fibre content: Superdan & Polyester fibre

Strength and power the ultimate DYNAMICA ropes
|
|
DYNAMICA ropes are made from Dyneema fibres produced by DSM in Holland. Dyneema is one of the strongest fibres in the world. The ropes have excellent properties with regard to strength, weight, UV stability (daylight), safety, abrasion, tension fatigue, bending fatigue. DYNAMICA ropes are the most compact ropes in the world made from Dyneema fibres. DYNAMICA ropes are produced in Denmark on state of the art machinery, to ensure the best obtainable quality.
|
DYNAMICA ropes are coated with a unique cotaing that ensures shape stability and increased abrasion resistance for longer working life. DYNAMICA ropes are heat-set under tension to ensure maximum strength, durability and uniformity.
The Dyneema Fibre Properties Strength Dyneema is more than ten times stronger than steel per unit of weight. This means that a Dynamica rope has a slightly higher strength than a steel wire of the same dimension - but less than one tenth of the weight. |

|
Tension - tension fatigue Dyneema can sustain a very large number of peak loads (loads close to the breaking strength). This gives a long life and a high safe working load. While steel wire can take 6500 loads at 50% of the maximum breaking load DYNAMICA ropes can take 10 million cycles at the same load level. DYNAMICA ropes are threfore an excellent material for dynamic applications.
Safety Dyneema has a very low elongation (2-3% at break). It stores very little energy and therefore has little backlash - even at hundreds of tonnes of load. Using Dyneema the amount of stored energy is much lower vis a vis nylon or steel wire ropes. This is a very important safety feature.
UV Stability Dyneema has a better stability to sunlight than other relevant fibres. After two years of exposure 80% of the strength is retained.
|
Resistance to chemical substances Dyneema is resistant to chemical substances and will not be affected by oil, acids or other substances.
Abrasion Dyneema has an excellent abrasion resistance compared with other synthetic fibres (five times better than polyester). Special care has to be taken, however, in order to ensure that it moves over clean nonrust surfaces etc. Sharp edges etc should be avoided.
Bending - bending fatigue Dyneema has good bending properties. However, it is recommended to bend over diameters of at least five times the diameter of the rope.
Applications: Offshore applications, Fisheries, Bridles, Gilsons, Cod lines, Head lines, Selvage ropes, Front end meshes, Warps Lifting applications, Mooring ropes, Towing, 4x4WD |

| Off Shore Mooring Applications |
|
Dynamica Ropes are very well suited for the Offshore and Mooring applications because of the low weight and high strength characteristics. Its speed and easy handling are other important parameters makes it suitable for Mooring.
We have given a unique solution for the high tides breakage of ordinary fibre Mooring Ropes. AP Moller has used the unique solution in the ports that are subject to high tides during the monsoon. They are satisfied with the Dynamica Rope solution. Earlier when they were using ordinary fibre ropes, with the berthing of one ship, they used to lose one mooring rope in the monsoon time because of the high tides. But now with the application of the Unique Solution using Dynamica ropes, not even a single rope has broken in the last 2 years. This speaks for itself. |

| Towing |
| Dynamica Ropes can also be used to replace the traditional steel wire that is used for towing. They can be used for coastal towing, salvage, escort towing, controlled depth towing for pipeline / bundle pulls and by anchor handling vessels. The advantages of using the Dyneema towlines are as follows: |
|
* Lighter in weight for the same breaking strength and easier to handle. Less crew required. |
| * Smaller winches compared to the winches being used for other Synthetic ropes like Polyester / Nylon. |
| * Increased safety due to less lash back energy |
| * Less wear on the towing staples and other surfaces, hence less maintenance as compared to using a steel wire |
| * Expect a double service life if proper care is taken |
| One has to take extra care while using the Dyneema abrasion either with polyester over braiding or providing rollers on the fairleads. We offer other very effective solutions to prevent the abrasion while towing, which is unique and very effective. |
| Fishing |
|
These ropes are preferred in fishing to being used as Bridles, Gilson's Cod lines, Headlines and Salvage ropes in comparison to other traditional ropes.
|
| Vehicle Recovery |
| Dynamica Ropes have been highly recommended for use on the vehicle recovery winches instead of the traditional steel wire. This is safer, flexible and easy to handle in comparison to a steel wire. The common sizes used are from 8 to 12mm size. |
